Bloogy Bracelets

So i participated in a bloggy swap (my first one!) and i really did enjoy it. It was a bracelet swap and i have to say that the person who gave me mine, Alyssa, did an amazing job and got it perfect. The turquoise one she gifted me i have had my eye on since i saw it at the outlet a few weeks ago. The black one can be dressed up or down and that always makes me happy! I don't know her blog address (it wasn't anywhere with the package) so i cant link her here or follow her but, Alyssa, if you are reading leave me a comment and ill follow and give ya credit! New Title/New Duties/BIG Headache!

Well i haven't posted about this but i am getting a promotion. i am going to be taking over for the lady in my office that is retiring. Let me just tell you this is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. She does EVERYTHING in this office and when i say that i mean it. She does the books, the payroll, the minutes, the budget, the Cd's from the bank, pays the bills, orders supplies, issues permits, plans the seminars, EVERY.SINGLE.THING! so you know what that means NOW I HAVE TO!

To say that she is overworked is an understatement. My boss/her boss should be doing the financial part of it but instead he sits in his office dictating letters and doing work not related to this office while shes been out here for 20 years doing it all. Let me tell you, my boss is NOT the easiest man to get along with either, he wants you to drop what your doing and attend to him RIGHT.THIS.MOMENT and lord don't type and talk to him at the same time, YOU might be able to multitask but he cant and it insults him when you do it (i learned this lesson the hard way!).

For me to say i am stressed doesn't even begin to scratch to the service of how i feel about this. i am excited though and eager to learn but since she told us she was leaving (about a month and half ago) shes been out most of those days so I've been unable to have anyone "show me the ropes" i am going into this job totally blind which FREAKS me out, i honestly don't have a clue what i am going to do, so this could get interesting! I am very excited for the opportunity to prove myself but at the same time with my boss i am afraid we will bump heads, well i know we will eventually, i just need to be on my A game.

Wish me luck in my new adventure because this roller coaster ride starts Monday.

So Sad

i wasnt sure i wanted to post this but for whatever reason right now i am feeling the urge/need. My 7 year old dog, who i rescued from a breeder, passed away Monday January 10th. i can honestly say this is the sadest i have been in my life. i miss her so much. i cant even type this without crying. i cant do laundry without crying because she would sit with me in the laundry room and watch me hang clothes. i havent been able to bring myself to wash her blankets because i miss her so much. i know it will get easier but right now, in this moment in time, i am hurting. i love her and i pray every time i think about her that she knew that. i pray i did right by her and never let her down. OK right now im at work and cant type anything else because i will be sobbing. i think i just needed to put it in writting right now!

i miss you Lulu, you will ALWAYS be in my heart! you brought me smiles and joy, please know that!

i do this a lot!

It seems i go for a while without posting and then ill post a few and then fall off the wagon again. i dont know why i guess its because i dont have much to talk about. i dont have pictures to post because i dont take a lot of pics and if i do its with my phone and those pics are awful. There really isnt anything worth blogging going on but i wanted you all to know im still here, reading all your blogs, trying to come up with something exciting to say or do, LOL! Thats about all i can think of right now maybe ill come back later with something.

Update

So i have gotten 2 new followers in the last couple days and have felt guilty that there is nothing on this blog that's been updated for them to read or at least entertain them for a minute! I don't know that i have too much to update really but ill see what i can come up with.

My job role has changed a bit, the other woman who i work with had knee surgery that went bad and has been out for a month and a half, I've winged a few things but have actually been forced to learn more about this job which in turn keeps me busy and makes the day go by faster.

Since i have bought a house, i don't know remember if i put that out on the blog or not but i bought a house a few months ago, and it has been a work in progress but i love it. we have gotten new kitchen appliances, painted rooms, and cleaned ourselves silly.

i now have 2 dogs. i have 2 English bulldogs, one named Skye and one named LuLu, i love them more and more every single day and they put such a smile on my face nothing could compare! LuLu is 7 (the lady we got her from told us the wrong age) and she is just a little love bug. she has THE.WORST.BREATH. on the planet but she wiggles and dances when she sees you so it cancels that out for me!

hmmm...nothing else going on really, sad life i lead, LOL!

Ok i am a total blog stalker, yes its creepy, yes i need a 12 step, and yes it should be a crime but i cant help it. sometimes i find the goods im lookin for and sometimes i find crap but on the day i do find the goods i am totally all over that like white on rice! where am i going with this you may ask? i am going here and you should too! this chicks art ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF! i am currently stalking her etsy page trying to determine which i want more, THIS, this, or this. i do also however LOVEEEEEEEEEE the cake plate she has on her blog and the yellow mirror, I DIE when i see it! All of these things would go great in my kitchen, my bedroom, my office, my hallway..well you get the idea ANYWHERE! also the bride and groom are AMAZING, did i mention she does all the work herself? i mean im totally jealous of the talent but totally appreciate what she does for those of us without any (me). i mean seriously people you have GOT to go check her out, her style is amazing!

NEW APPLIANCES!!!

i mean really how lame-o is it to be excited about a new refrigerator? because yesterday i was that girl! the fridge we had was about the size of a dorm fridge which when your an adult and don't live in a dorm it isn't really practical! it is a stainless side by side Kenmore elite (doesn't that just sound fancy to say? i agree!) so here are pics (the dishwasher, stove, and microwave with vent a hood come at the end of the week, YAYYYY!!! and they do match)

Also, i had a DRs apt on Monday, nothing big just my yearly, and brought up a few things like PMDD that i thought i might have so we elected to change my birth control to Yaz, do you know anyone that's taken that? my sister said she knew people that took it that got pregnant, uhm excuse me that's the opposite reason I'm taking you!, also I've read some of the reviews and they aren't that great so I'm a little leery! the DR also advised me that i might want to start taking a multi-vitamin so i went to Walmart last night and got these HOARSE PILLS i mean vitamins, does this make me officially old? do any of you take vitamins you would recommend? i don't like taking pills and these.things.are.huge. (that's what she said! HA!)
